Each year Washington Township students are welcomed back as faculty and we could not be more excited to have them home! We thought you might want to learn a little more about some of this year’s returning alumni…

“I think my favorite part of Washington Township was the millions of ways to get involved. I feel that NC really developed me as a leader because there were so many opportunities to pursue my passions and throw myself into them wholeheartedly. I can also pinpoint so many teachers and adult mentors in my life in every single stage that Washington Township provided. Mrs. Weber in 3rd grade, Mrs. Kixmiller in 8th grade, Mrs. Decker and Mr. Vermilion in high school… all of these teacher came to school everyday and engaged me in a way that made me look forward to school. So much so that I just had to come back and teach so I could hopefully do the same for some of my students!”

“NC has always held a special place in my heart. I had a lot of fun meeting so many people, being on student council, attending football games showing my school spirit, marching in the Indy 500 parade, attending the energized pep rallies, and walking through the tunnel to JEL to attend my dental assisting/expanded duties classes. During my senior year, I held the position of Health Occupations Students of America state president and represented our school and the state at a national conference in Washington, DC. It is exciting to be back in the halls that hold so many great memories from my high school days.”
